Guisborough URC is located on the north side of Westgate, which is the high street of what is essentially a market town. The present building dates from 1811 but the church, as a body of people, goes back to 1798. We have a small faithful congregation, drawn mostly from the Guisborough area, worshipping here and involved in the community through Guisborough Churches Together and the ecumenical organisation known as the Bridge Association. Services are held each Sunday morning, with Junior Church at the same time. Every Thursday there is a Coffee Morning followed by a ‘Quiet Time’ prayer meeting.
For our monthly communion service, all are welcome and please note that we use gluten free bread and non-alcoholic wine. |
MartonSunday Service 10:00am

St Andrew's URC is a modern Church in keeping with the surrounding houses of Marton. The Church lies in its own green area and has the benefit of a large car park. The Church mainly serves the communities of Marton and Nunthorpe, on the southern fringe of the town of Middlesbrough. The loose seating in the main church allows it to be used as a hall. Several other rooms are available for hire, and are used by various organisations. Boys Brigade meetings are held weekly.

Redcar United Reformed Church is a town centre church with a small dedicated congregation. We hold services each Sunday at 11am, including a Sunday school, with monthly communion.
Every Thursday we have a prayer meeting at 9.30am followed by the ‘Pop-in’, serving tea, coffee and friendship. The ‘Pop-in’ has been going for over 20 years and is organised by three churches, the Anglican, Roman Catholic and ourselves. The church also plays an active part in Churches Together in Redcar. We also have active Beavers, Cubs and Scout troops, who have great times together. |
The Group Profile
The full group profile which is available to download was developed in late 2018 in order to aid the 3 congregations in the recruitment process of a minister due to their time of been 'in vacancy'.
